STP Centerless Grinder & Centerless Polisher
The STP model of centerless polisher / grinder combines the features
of the Model PT (centerless polisher) and the ST (centerless grinder) in
one machine. As a Centerless grinder it can work as a wet
centerless grinding machine. Remove the rubber contact wheel and
replace is with the polishing mop wheel, swing the polishing compound
feeder into place, and your ready for centerless polishing of tube and
bars. This is an economical machine for both polishing and
grinding of full lengths of pipe tube and bars, when the pipe is
straight and can be rotated.
The centerless grinding head is mounted on an adjustable slide for
the manual adjustment of tube or pipe diameter being polished.
Adjusting handles are located at the front of the machine. The
centerless grinding motor is standard: 7.5 HP.,1500 RPM.
Work supports have independent axis adjustment. Available as
single or multiple head units.
This same centerless grinding machine can be fitted with buffing
wheels for centerless buffing and polishing of tube and pipe.
Mirror polishing of the tube and pipe is achievable. |
